Fly to Mars and back with Salakavala´s new cunning
The Finnish trance madness masters Salakavala comes up with their new album Magic Carpet on Hippie Killer Productions 16th of February! Take a flight to Mars and back on their genuine Suomitrance tripster beats and basslines, creating a perfect, yet ticklish mattress to throw yourself in the midst of the journey.
This album is for those who know, and also for those who still not know, but should definitely come to know! The 11 tracks of the new Salakavala album take us to a flying trip into twisty paths, leading to cracking and buzzing soundverses and hazy and thicket party shrubberies on the edge of the known world. It leaves us midway catching a breath as our hearts are beating around 148 bpm, while snatching us again to a Magic Carpet rollercoaster that is the updated interpretation of Suomisound according to Salakavala.
Those, who have never encountered the mindlessness of this kind before, should absolutely take the ride immediately, just to rinse their head off of any previous conceptions of the possibilities in psychedelic trance music, and to familiarize themselves with the genuine sound of the psychedelic underground.
The long time psy trance punks and Suomisound wizards Salakavala is a Helsinki based duo by Tommy Lauhiala and Toni Sorsa. Magic Carpet is their third full-length album of spugedelic carnevalia. They have led successfully people astray from the pure genre boxes on the dancefloors around the world during their almost 20-year career. Hippie Killer Productions is a Moscow based label releasing extrovert Suomisound and other oddities from the sidetracks of electronic musicinto vast variety of electronic music.
